Vera Wang Maggie

Maggie is a fully custom, one-of-a-kind Vera Wang wedding dress designed for the bride (whose name is - you guessed it - Maggie) by Vera herself in 1998. The bride's father was a fabric distributor who knew Vera professionally, so Maggie was able to work directly with Vera to create this dramatic ball gown. In fact, Maggie even recalled some of the specific things Vera said during their design meeting, including her term for the neckline: crumb-catcher.

Maggie features a notched strapless neckline, defined waist, and dramatic ball gown silhouette. It was constructed from a classic Vera fabric, the duchesse silk satin that was a staple in her bridal line during this period.

Maggie was carefully preserved according to Vera's instructions, and it was opened for the first time by us when we received it from the bride. It is in excellent condition, and ready to be worn down the aisle again. It will come with the original multi-tiered veil.
